Marine Le Pen, born Marion Anne Perrine Le Pen on August 5, 1968, in Neuilly-sur-Seine, a commune just outside Paris. She is the youngest of three daughters by Jean-Marie Le Pen and his first wife, Pierrette. Marine Le Pen is a French lawyer and politician.

Benjamin des Three daughters of Jean-Marie Le Pen, president of the National Front since 1972, and his first wife Pierrette Lalanne, Marine is a student at the Florent Schmitt high school in Saint-Cloud. She subsequently studied law at the University of Paris II-Assas where she obtained a master’s degree in law (mentioning judicial careers) in 1990 and then a DEA in criminal law in 1991. During her years at the university, she took part in National Student Circle of Paris (CNEP), a student movement close to the National Front, of which it is at one time the Honorary President.

In 1992, she obtained the certificate of aptitude for the profession of lawyer (CAPA) and became a lawyer at the Paris Bar. She then regularly pleads before the XXIII Correctional Chamber of the Tribunal de Grande Instance, Paris, which adjudicates the immediate appearances. She joined the Paris Bar until 1998 and then joined the Legal Department of the National Front.

Adhering to the National Front in 1986 at the age of 18, she presented for the first time to an election in the legislative elections of 1993, where she is a candidate of the National Front in the 16th district of Paris (XVIIth arrondissement). She received 11.1% of the vote.

It was in 1998 that she began to exercise her first political mandate as a regional councilor for Nord-Pas-de-Calais, elected in the North on the list led by Carl Lang. But it was in 2002, the evening of the second round of the ” Presidential election to which Jean-Marie Le Pen had qualified, that it appears on the media scene.

A month later, in June 2002, she ran for the legislative elections in Lens, in the thirteenth riding of Pas-de-Calais. She obtained 24.24% of the votes in the first round, which allows her to qualify for the second round, during which she receives 32.30% of the votes against the socialist candidate Jean-Claude Bois.

Meanwhile, in 2000, she took the lead of the association Generation Le Pen, founded in 1998 by Samuel Maréchal, which it renames Generations Le Pen. During the XIIth National Front Congress, held in Nice in April 2003, Marine Le Pen was appointed Executive Vice-President of the National Front. Elected to the European Parliament in 2004, She was re-elected in 2009 with Jean-Marie Le Pen and Bruno Gollnisch.

In November 2007, during the XIIIth Congress of the National Front in Bordeaux, Marine Le Pen came in second behind Bruno Gollnisch, in the election of the central committee of the National Front. The members were 75.76% to give it their confidence. At the same congress, Jean-Marie Le Pen appointed her as Executive Vice-President of the FN, responsible for “internal affairs”. This included, among other things, training of cadres and activists, internal and external communication of the party.

Originally occupying one of the two positions of Executive Vice-President of the National Front, she has been a member of the European Parliament since July 2004. She is also a regional councilor in Nord-Pas-de-Calais since March 2010 and a municipal councilor.
