USA POLITICS: Joe Biden Continues Attacks Against Trump, ‘Trump is a Charlatan’

“This administration costs – well let me say it another way – it casts…global affairs to dog-eat-dog competition, a Hobbesian world in which for Americans to success others must lose, or fail,” Biden argued.

He also criticized Trump’s “childish” tweeting habits and advised him to stop communicating parts of his foreign policy via the social platform.

He specifically lashed out at Trump’s use of Twitter to lay out his North Korea policy, saying they send “signals that are dangerous.”

“You know, big nations can’t bluff and what the president doesn’t realize, drawing all of these red lines with regard to North Korea and then not following up diminishes our power around the world, sends out signals that are dangerous,” he said.

Former US President Barack Obama ex-aides Jeremy Shapiro reveals that, “From my perspective it was very important for us to mention the special relationship in every press conference that we had when the UK were here. But really we laughed about it behind the scenes. Typically, I would try and slip in a reference to the Malvinas or something to spoil it.”

USA POLITICS: Melania Trump Didn’t Find It Funny When Ivana Trump Said ‘Because I’m Basically First Trump Wife, OK? I’m First Lady, OK’

The spat broke out after Ivana Trump gave a television interview on ABC’s Good Morning America during which she claimed “basically first Trump wife, I’m first lady.’

“I have the direct number to White House, but I don’t really want to call him there because Melania is there, and I don’t really want to cause any kind of jealousy or something like that because I’m basically first Trump wife, OK? I’m first lady, OK,” Ivana Trump told viewers, before laughing.

Clearly the current Mrs. Trump didn’t see the funny side as she fired back a sharply-worded statement from her communications director, Stephanie Grisham.

“Mrs. Trump has made the White House a home for Barron and the president. She loves living in Washington, DC, and is honored by her role as first lady of the United States. She plans to use her title and role to help children, not sell books. There is clearly no substance to this statement from an ex, this is unfortunately only attention-seeking and self-serving noise,” the statement said.

UK POLITICS: Labour Pull Five Points Clear of Tories, Voters Prefer Jeremy Corbyn to Theresa May

The numbers represent a stunning reversal in fortune for both the Tories and Labour, and the poll heaps yet more problems on top of Theresa May, whose authority had already been undermined by Boris Johnson even before her catastrophic conference speech.

The under-fire Theresa May also faces pressure from the European Union where leaders in France and Germany signalled they would not allow Brexit talks to progress on to trade.

The study by BMG Research gives Labour a four point increase to 42 per cent, while the Conservatives fell two to 37 per cent.
