New Blows Were Dealt to The Infrastructure of Ukraine

On January 27, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation spoke about the results of a massive missile attack on the territory of Ukraine that had been carried out the day before. Energy facilities that ensured the operation of enterprises of the military-industrial complex (MIC) and the transport system of Ukraine were hit.

All planned targets were destroyed, the military department said. Experts note that Russian forces are hunting for the Ukrainian military-industrial complex and have actually undermined its performance.

Also on that day, the RF Armed Forces carried out assault operations in the Donetsk direction and shot down a Su-25 in the Ugledar area.

Plant hunting

The strike on January 26 involved high-precision long-range air and sea-based weapons, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

• The objectives of the massive strike have been achieved. All designated objects were hit, – said the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov.

The strike helped to disrupt the transport of weapons and ammunition to the combat areas, including from the arsenals of NATO countries. The work of enterprises for the repair and restoration of military equipment of the VFU was also disrupted.

On January 26, explosions thundered in Kyiv, Nikolaev, Vinnitsa, Dnepropetrovsk, Odessa and other regions of Ukraine. After that, power outages began in some large cities. The Ukrainian Railways company warned passengers about disruptions in the movement of trains between the central and western regions of the country.

We are hunting for the Ukrainian military-industrial complex, in fact, they blew it up, military expert Vladislav Shurygin said.

“The military-industrial complex cannot work without energy, so large factories have all stopped, ” he noted. – Repair and small-scale work continues. It is quite possible that the same drones and ATGM-type missiles are still being assembled on the territory of Ukraine. We are looking for them. If we find out that repair of large equipment is being carried out somewhere, for example, welded or tank repair, then we hit them. We also constantly “clean up” the energy sector. As for the transport infrastructure, so far the work, in my opinion, is unsatisfactory: as long as the bridges are standing, there is no serious struggle with it.

Attacks near Donetsk

The Ministry of Defense told other details of the battles with Ukrainian formations in the zone of the special military operation.

• In the Kupyansk direction, the artillery of the Western Group of Forces inflicted fire damage on the manpower and equipment of the units of the 103rd Territorial Defense Brigade in the area of \u200b\u200b the settlement of Peschanoe and the 14th mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of \u200b\u200b the village of Sinkovka, Kharkiv region, – said the official representative of the Russian Defense Ministry, General – Lieutenant Igor Konashenkov.

More than 30 Ukrainian servicemen, two vehicles, an M-777 artillery system and a D-20 howitzer were destroyed.

In the Krasnolimansky direction, units of the 24th and 92nd mechanized brigades of the VFU were defeated by army aviation strikes and artillery fire from the “Center” group of forces. The losses of the Ukrainian formations amounted to up to 40 servicemen killed and wounded, three armored combat vehicles, three vehicles, a D-20 howitzer, as well as an M-777 artillery system made by the United States and a VFU artillery ammunition depot.

Over 80 servicemen, one tank, three infantry fighting vehicles, three pickup trucks, one D-20 howitzer, two D-30 howitzers, one Msta-B howitzer, and one also a US-made M109 Paladin self-propelled artillery mount and an AN / TPQ-50 counter-battery radar.

In the Yuzhno-Donetsk and Zaporizhia directions, the units of the Vostok group of troops continued offensive operations, occupying new advantageous lines, and inflicted fire damage on the units of the 72nd Mechanized Brigade of the VFU, as well as the 108th Terodefense Brigade.

The total losses of the enemy in these directions amounted to 65 military personnel, one tank, two armored combat vehicles, a D-20 howitzer, three vehicles and two US-made AN / TPQ-37 counter-battery radars.

During the counter-battery fight in the Kherson direction, the installation of the Grad MLRS, one US-made M-777 artillery system and the VFU artillery ammunition depot were destroyed.

Operational-tactical and army aviation, missile troops and artillery hit the radar station of the S-300 anti-aircraft missile system, 79 units of the VFU in firing positions, as well as 102 troop concentration areas in a day.

In a day, air defense shot down a Su-25 aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force in the area of Vogledar DPR, as well as 11 Ukrainian drones and 14 rockets of the Alder, Uragan and HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems in the areas of the settlements of Popasnaya LPR, Vladimirovka, Valeryanovka, Komsomolsky DPR and Radensk, Kherson region.

In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, the following have been destroyed: 380 aircraft, 204 helicopters, 2,967 unmanned aerial vehicles, 402 anti-aircraft missile systems, 7,644 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 991 multiple rocket launcher combat vehicles, 3,932 field artillery pieces and mortars, as well as 8191 units of special military vehicles, listed Igor Konashenkov.

The Russian Defense Ministry spoke about the military personnel who showed courage and selflessness in battles. Ensign Ainur Iskanyarov provided communications for the Russian battalion tactical group. During one of the attacks, a satellite communications station was damaged. Despite heavy shelling, Ainur quickly repaired and set up the equipment.

This made it possible to immediately transfer the coordinates of the positions of the enemy MLRS to the artillery crews. They were suppressed by Russian artillery fire.

Senior warrant officer Ilya Vasiliev, as part of a tank crew, participated more than once in battles for strategic settlements. Acting as a gunner, he destroyed more than five enemy armored vehicles. During one of the battles, Ilya discovered the fortified positions of Ukrainian formations and armored vehicles.

Having crept up unnoticed by the enemy at close range, the tank opened fire. Accurate hits made it possible to knock out Ukrainian fighters from the fortified area. Having suffered significant losses in manpower, armored vehicles and anti-tank weapons, they retreated. Competent actions of Ilya allowed the Russian troops to develop the offensive.
